Summer is over, but the races go on in Auckland! We found a school fundraiser 'MudRun'. This is likely our last race, so we had to make it a good one. It was 2 loops around their school grounds with mud pits, mud slides, water slides, crawling under ropes and under tires and finishing with a shower station.
As you can see, Jonah ran the race 'kiwi style' with no shoes. The apartment underground parking lot has a hose to wash your car or bike. We had to spend quite a bit of time rinsing all of the mud out of clothes before we could go inside! It was worth it though. What a great school fundraising event.
